Our time at the Olive Retreat was the most amazing vacation. The Villa, the location and the ammenities were above and beyond our expectations! The house manager Stella we our personal travel advisor and made the best recommendations. I highly recommend this Villa for your next vacation! A day of wine tasting in Nemea is also a must! We loved the in house yoga course, the olive oil tasting and our time at the beach and laying by the pool! We can't wait to go back!

We spent a week with our adult children and were just wowed. It’s a great house for a big family or four four or five adult couples. Well designed for togetherness or privacy. The house is unique and beautiful. Every need has been considered. You could easily spend the week just enjoying the house, the view, the property. But it’s a great area with many day trips to interesting historical sites. And every day trip drive is beautiful with fairly easy driving. As others have noted, Stella the house manager is indeed a star.

We are a group of 10 VERY EXIGENT persons and we spent a week in this wonderful villa. Everything is perfect, large rooms with confortable beds and modern bathrooms, a very well equiped kitchen, a big living with fireplace and a wonderful dehor. A modern house suitable for every season. STELLA, the housekeeper is perfect, she has great care of guests, of the house and she meets every needs. Thank you for our great holiday!

Close proximity to Costa Navarino Golf perfect for my family with 4 keen golfers. Our host helped with all the arrangements plus water sport suggestions for my boys. Our chef Maria was outstanding, producing high quality meals which stopped us from venturing from the villa very often! Villas peaceful olive grove location with fantastic views of the surrounding hills and bays was fantastic. The facilities are second to none. To be honest I couldn't fault anything and wouldn't hesitate returning. Stella thanks to you as our host, you made the stay very special.

This house is simply stunning - luxurious but understated, modern but perfectly in tune with it’s surroundings with everything that you might possibly need. There are four large beautiful en-suite bedrooms with a stunning open plan kitchen, sitting room and dining area all opening onto the pool, plus there’s extra accommodation for staff downstairs too. I arrived exhausted but within two days I felt rested, relaxed and rejuvenated - retreat is the right word. The house is very privately situated down a lane set amongst an olive grove with lots of Mediterranean planting close to the house - the scent of herbs and jasmine fills the air. It is the sort of place that you really do not need to leave but there is lots to see and do locally: stunning beaches, pretty towns, ancient ruins and Venetian castles all within half an hour. The whole area is unspoilt and tourism low key. Stella the house manager is at the end of the phone if you need her and couldn’t be more helpful. I loved it so much that we’re going back next year ..... Thank you for a wonderful week.

Prior to arrival communication was handled by Stella who proved to be invaluable when getting detail on the locality and extremely responsive to any requests. Stella and her team were in and out of the house providing us with a level of unobtrusive service rarely found elsewhere. Stella is a Diamond... The pictures of the house are impressive but nothing prepares you for the location, design, build quality and presentation of this home. The owners have spared no expense in fitting out their home and it really could be "No 1 Third Home". We will watch this property and snap up any availability in a heartbeat. A self build Holiday home is a special investment and your own is always going to be hard to beat but The Olive Retreat is very very special. The time and effort that has been invested here shows. We loved it, favourite house ever! The area is stunning, unspoilt yet with many really nice relaxed Restaurants to spend warm evenings relaxing. Catching a coffee under a tree in the square in Pylos while watching the fishermen selling their catch is a simple yet rare unique pleasure. The many sites of archeological interest rival any others in Greece and importantly are within easy reach. The tranquility and friendliness of people found here is such a change from the more developed areas around Europe we are more familiar with. Our Hosts Guy and Catherine were over the top in their generosity and a perfect welcome pack greeted us on arrival. Golf bookings during our stay were hard to secure but with the help of Stella and Guy we secured the tee times we wanted. Guy invited us to play with him and also introduced us to his friends who were most inclusive and a pleasure to meet. The Bar has now been set so high for the rest of us members it is hard to see how we could possibly surpass this location, house or the level of Hospitality extended to us by Guy, Catherine, Stella and Team. We had been to the Romanos area of the Southern Peloponnese before and were delighted to find this house on Third Home. As usual there was some worry about whether our assessment of the property would be accurate. Well this place completely exceeded our expectations! The villa is an architectural masterpiece sited on a hill overlooking the sea and mountains, and completely surrounded by an olive orchard. Every detail of the house was perfect and it was set up almost like a hotel with a large service area in the basement with a second (commercial) kitchen and every possible support function. We paid for the magnificent pool to be heated and were in it every day. The patio is huge and a great place to read or eat or just look at the amazing view.. Nearby are countless famous archeological sites and plenty of good restaurants. Nearby you can sail or dive in the Ionian Sea. And to top it all off there is Stella who manages the property expertly and tenderly. You will not find on a better vacation property.
